I can't believe it's already July 4th weekend. The Aussie is down and made me a french toast feast. Sadly, it was a little too doughy for us, but it looked pretty.
He also surprised me with an adorable mini hot pink ipod for running. I have a bigger ipod, but it isn't very runner-friendly. Speaking of running, I did the treadmill this week. It's much easier to run inside, but I'm going to stick mostly with the outside running. I ran on the treadmill for the entire 5k! A first ever. My time was 31:00, which is still fairly slow but I don't care :)
I'm back on the green smoothie bandwagon. I've been having a smoothie with spinach, apple, and lemon. Pretty darn tasty
I've also been eating gardien no-chicken tenders :) Better for my body and the chickens. I like pairing them with sweet potato fries and roasted pepper. I probably should have opted for a red pepper to add a bit of color to this meal, but it was darn tasty.
In dessert news, I made the Aussie homemade apricot shortbread cookies.
Off to be productive till the Aussie gets back from golf.
