Twenty Four Weeks - Baby #2

(no clue why my arm looks so weirdo)

TWENTY FOUR WEEKS

Weight gained: 4 pounds

Workouts: Last week and half I have been sick, and decided to skip the gym (being preggo and sick at the gym did not seem like a good idea to me). But I have been hitting my steps still and doing the squats every day.
Labor Signs: None
Symptoms: Nothing too bad lately, but probably because I've been complaining more about being sick! Haha
Movement: Yeah, feeling the baby now. It's such a reassuring feeling when the baby moves.

Food Aversions: none

Food Cravings: none
Sleep: Pretty good lately, and including lots of naps!

Stretch marks? None so far, but I may be getting a weird one on my ribs (lets hope not).

Miss Anything? Always the same - sleeping on my stomach, a cold cider and coke zero!

Fun and/or Interesting Things from the last few Weeks: Did a beach weekend which was amazing and I loved watching Hudson playing in the ocean.

Belly Button in or out? Still in.

Wedding rings on or off? Off.

Happy or moody most of the time: So happy and just hoping for a healthy little bub!

New Baby Items: Still none, but I'm itching to buy one!!!

They're multiplying!

I'm so incredibly excited to announce that Hudson is going to be promoted to big brother in June! We've decided not to find out what we're having, and I can honestly say I just want a healthy baby. Two little boys will be so much fun and having a girl would be amazing. Either way, we're very lucky.

TWENTY WEEKS

Weight gained:1.5 pounds

Workouts: 10 weeks in I started wearing my FitBit - averaged 12,500 steps per day for December and January. In January I also started a squat challenge, and am doing 75 per day. I am trying to make it to the gym a few times a week for some light lifting - nothing too strenuous.

Labor Signs: None, thankfully.
Symptoms: I feel 30 weeks pregnant with how I am sleeping and the bump! It probably didn't help that I only lost half the weight I put on with Hudson, so I began this pregnancy much heavier.
Movement: Felt movement a few days before 20 weeks (similar to with Hudson). My placenta is in the front so that means I won't feel as much movement. I forgot how amazing the flutters feel!

Food Aversions: none

Food Cravings: none
Sleep: See above. Using snoogle (never stopped after I had Hudson . . . haha).

Stretch marks? None so far, but I am sure I will get a few new ones. With Hudson I got some on the sides and a few on the stomach. They are light and don't bother me.

Miss Anything? Sleeping on my stomach, a cold cider and coke zero (exactly the same as last time!)

Fun and/or Interesting Things from the Week: Half way mark is exciting, but still so far to go. It's nice this time around because some of the moms from mothers' group are also pregnant (we can complain together). We have a girl's name picked out and are down to the top 2 for boy names!

Belly Button in or out? Still in.

Wedding rings on or off? Off. I had terrible swelling last time and got carpal tunnel. I am really afraid it's going to be worse this time!

Happy or moody most of the time: Very happy, and nervous to add another to the mix because things have gotten into such a good place with Hudson.

New Baby Items: None yet. I plan to limit the buying until after the baby is born.

Hudson - 2 years

His stats:

Weight - 31.6 pounds
Height - 92 centimeters

His likes/dislikes:

He dislikes not getting his way and absolutely hates when Dad holds Mom's hand.

He likes going to the park, playing hide and seek, reading, and spending every possible moment with Dad. We also let him occasionally watch Dora the Explorer, which he likes (although he can't get through an entire episode)

His adventures:

He went to his first wedding - his Uncle got married.

Despite the look on his face, he had a good time. Especially when he saw the Bride's niece.

He's had many adventures with his friends.

His biggest adventure was flying to America to visit my parents and best friend! The flights weren't too bad because we had tons of extra seats (I love empty planes!).

Thoughts on the last few months:

His language has exploded and he wants to try to do everything himself. I love seeing him learn and grow. He's such a sweet child - always quick to share with us and wanting to cuddle. I feel blessed that he's mine.

The alligator misbehaved and got time out. Haha! We give Hudson time out of 10 seconds if he's not listening, and apparently he applies the same rules to his animals.
